We are truly honored to return to Oahu to teach and share our teachers art to our family, friends, and community of martial artists on the Island ποΈπΊπ‘οΈ
Thank you so much for having us for attending even under the elements during a tropical storm that turned into a hurricane! πͺοΈπ§οΈβοΈπͺπ½ππ₯Ή
You guys hung in there, shook it off and kept training under the Hurricane πͺοΈ and we were super proud of you. We appreciate you still Coming to the workshop even though the entire state of Oahu had to shut down. Lol, but y'all still did it and we are thankful!
Biggest shout out to our amazing family and friends that hosted us and made us feel welcome and at home while in the island, Ron, Lydia, ate Luna, ate Soleil, and grandma/Lola for having us. Ron and Lydia are phenomenal, amazing and an inspiration for the cultural work and leadership that they did in the Bay and now what they're doing here in Oahu. ππΎππΎβπΎπ΅ππ¦
Another special thank you to the Tabosa Kali family including Master Romy and Master CJ for coming and also sharing and teaching their art which has influenced our system through the late and great, Grand Master Raymond Tobosa being one of Master Sonny Umpad's teacher. Which is also master CJ's grandfather!!!
We hope to continue to build with all of the local Filipino Martial Arts schools to help strengthen the powerful Island warrior community. We're here for it.
Thank you also to the Defense AcademycyLegacy Filipino Martial Arts - Hawaiins, the elders, and the young leaders that came.
