Soaring High: Our Eagles of the Week 🦅✨

We would like to give a massive shoutout to our newly announced Eagles of the Week:

🦅Grade 3 – Aaliyah: Nominated by Miss Devine for her incredible work ethic, kind words, and positive mindset! Aaliyah is a first-time listener, always asks questions when needed, lends a helping hand, and keeps her full focus on the speaker. We are so proud of you, Aaliyah!

🦅Grade 4 – Noah Adams: Nominated by Mrs. Mack for his empathy, respect, and unwavering dedication to learning. Noah approaches every challenge with a strong work ethic, values others' perspectives, and makes a positive impact on our entire school community every day. Congratulations, Noah!

🦅Grade 5 – Nyomi Stevens: Chosen through thoughtful reflections by her classmates in Mr. Polley’s room! Her peers praised her for being loyal, listening to directions the first time, and putting consistent effort into finishing her work. Way to lead by example, Nyomi!

🌟Huge thanks to our amazing LETRS Crew, Tammy Pullen, Karen Mayo and Andrew Polley for leading an insightful presentation during our Teacher Workshop Day today! Your guidance on implementing LETRS is key to strengthening our daily instruction.

🌟Shout-out as well to Nichole Stewart for preparing a fantastic Acadience training for our team—this data will give us critical insight into our students' academic progress and growth!

🌟We know how much time and thoughtful preparation goes into delivering top-tier training, and you all executed it seamlessly.

🎃👻 We’re gearing up for our annual Costumes for a Cause! 👻🎃

🌟Each year, we partner with Atwood Primary School to raise funds for local organizations making a meaningful difference in our community. This year, we’re proud to support the Dempsey Center and the Waterville Humane Society, whose work helps individuals, families, and animals in need.

🌟If you’d like to contribute and do not have a child at our school, you may stop by Williams to donate your spare change or come out during our parade on 10/30 to make a donation. Together, we hope to make this our most successful year yet supporting two organizations that are truly near and dear to our hearts.

🥳We are thrilled to celebrate our newest Making a Difference award recipients! Please join us in congratulating two outstanding members of our school community who go above and beyond every single day:

🌟Mrs. Mullen – Educational Technician

Mrs. Mullen is a true ray of sunshine in our school, always greeting students and staff alike with a warm smile and positive words. Even with a busy schedule, she selflessly takes time out of her week to wash, dry, and fold the kitchen towels. Her kindness and bright spirit make our school a warmer, better place for everyone.

🌟Ms. Kinney – 3rd Grade Teacher

In education, there is a saying about finding your "marigolds"—the colleagues who lift you up, offer support, and bring out your best. Ms. Kinney is the ultimate marigold. While balancing her teaching responsibilities and furthering her own education, she continuously finds creative ways to keep learning engaging—from earthquake experiments to waffle-themed math blocks! As a kind, patient, and solution-focused teammate, she supports both her students and her fellow teachers every step of the way. Though she usually prefers to stay out of the spotlight, we want to make sure she knows just how deeply appreciated she is.
