Thank You for Helping Our Seed Grow!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of Community School for Creative Education. Fifteen years ago, a seed was planted—one rooted in hope, creativity, and the belief in the potential of every child. Over the years, that seed grew into a vibrant community, blossoming with learning, friendship, and cherished memories.

We are deeply grateful to our students, families, faculty, staff, and the entire community who have nurtured this seed with care, dedication, and love. The friendships formed, lessons learned, and experiences shared will remain with us forever.

Though this chapter is ending, the spirit of Community School for Creative Education—the seed we planted together—will continue to grow in each of you. Thank you for being part of our story and for helping our school flourish into a truly special place.

CSCE is hosting Choice Days all this week. Please come and get information about other schools to find the right placement for your child. Please visit the front office all this week from 12-2:30 pm to see if any of these schools might be the best fit for your child.

Good evening families. Tonight will be a board meeting with ACOE. While our own school board has already voted, if you would like to show up in person at 6:30 or online on Zoom here's the link.

Mr. Kappenhagen will be presenting to ACOE lessons learned from our school so that other schools may hopefully benefit from our journey.
