🎓 Closing the digital divide, one graduate at a time.

On May 29th, Tech Exchange celebrated the graduation of our Digital Literacy class at the Melrose Oakland Library branch. This Spanish/Mam-speaking cohort completed hands-on training designed to build essential digital skills and empower participants to confidently navigate today’s digital world.

Each graduate received a certificate and a computer, tools that extend learning beyond the classroom and into everyday life.

We were also honored to have Univision on-site to capture and share this moment, interviewing both staff and graduates about the impact of digital inclusion in our community.

This Earth Month, Tech Exchange had the incredible opportunity to connect with students at the SF Climate Action Youth Summit at Yerba Buena Gardens, where youth voices, climate action, and innovation came together.

From conversations on e-waste and device reuse to exploring careers at the intersection of tech and sustainability, one thing was clear: young people are ready to lead the way toward a more equitable and sustainable future.
