McClymonds students from our KOO Media Academy were trained to conduct oral history interviews. What a legacy Al Attles formed playing and working for the Golden State Warriors in many different capacities over 60 years. He was drafted by the Warriors in 1960. He was the second Black NBA coach to win an NBA Championship in 1975. He was even more respected as a family man and community leader. My condolences to his son Al Attles and the family. He was truly a leader of men. Everyone will feel his loss without the pearls of wisdom he was always eager to share.
