becoming a coordinator in OASES involves taking a larger role in the club and being responsible of leading tutorial days, organizing on-campus events, and much more.

HOWEVER, being a coord also entails eating LOTS of good food and spending time with the really cool coord team!

here are some highlights from our recent coord hangouts which consists of a day out at bakers beach, unlimited pasta at olive garden, and a much needed meeting at in-n-out!

if you are currently a mentor, we encourage you to apply to become a coordinator where your responsibilities will consist primarily of eating food... and other things as well!

☕ OASES Coffee Chats are here! ☕️

OASES Coffee Chats (O-Chats) are casual conversations with OASES Coordinators where you can get to know each other and feel more connected to the community.

Chats can be one-on-one or in small groups. You can meet at a coffee shop, lounge, or study spot, whether that means grabbing food, studying together, or just talking.

What can you expect to get out of an O-Chat?
-> Get to know your OASES leaders and feel more integrated into the club community
-> Ask questions about OASES, UC Berkeley, or anything on your mind
-> Get advice, guidance, or just have a relaxed conversation

If you’re unsure about what to ask us about, some conversation topics include:
-> OASES: roles, leadership, events, and what makes it special
-> Balance: managing OASES, academics, and social life
-> Career & goals: how OASES connects to our future/professional plans and yours
-> Background: interests, passions, and experiences
-> Recommendations: favorite food spots, study places, books, podcasts, and more
