From the Philippines to Lodestar, Grade 8 Math teacher Mr. Saraspe brings a global perspective to his classroom every day. 🌎 📖

His impact extends beyond the classroom, too. Josephil was honored as one of the Golden Icons in Education and Excellence by Generation Thrive of the Warriors In The Community for his meaningful contributions to youth development across the Bay Area. 🌉

Through Greenheart’s Teach USA program, Josephil has embraced the opportunity to grow as af educator while learning from the diverse cultures, experiences, and stories of his students and colleagues.

We’re proud to have Josephil as part of the Lodestar community and grateful for the culture, perspective, and care he brings to our students. 🐍 ✨

This year, our High School Animation students brought their ideas to life through incredible animated films, showcasing their talent, hard work, and artistic vision. Their work was premiered at a special event in SFMOMA !

A huge congratulations to our student animators for sharing their stories with the world, and a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Vero and Mr. Figueroa for inspiring, guiding, and empowering our students every step of the way.

An incredible year for our High School Animation students!

Through countless hours of creativity, collaboration, and dedication, our students produced amazing animated films that were showcased at the SF Museum of Modern Art ✨

Congratulations to every student who shared their vision and brought their stories to life. We also want to extend our deepest appreciation to Mrs. Vero and Mr. Figueroa, whose guidance, encouragement, and commitment helped make this experience possible.

Thank you for helping our students dream big, create boldly, and shine brightly. We are so proud of you all!
