RECAP - OPEN HOUSE

We had a very successful Open House with a variety of ideas shared and great contributions from everyone.

Keynote Speech: Fursey’s Presentation – The Three Rs
Fursey delivered a truly heartfelt and inspiring session on how to build a sustainable and thriving club using the Three Rs: Rigor, Relevance, and Relationship.

He skillfully guided us through the importance of creating a community built on understanding needs and fostering connections. From establishing high standards (rigor), to ensuring our mission remains meaningful (relevance), and nurturing lasting bonds (relationship), Fursey’s insights reminded us of the deeper purpose behind what we do.

Table Topics:
We had a beautiful and engaging discussion around several thought-provoking questions:

How can we, as an organization, become a growing, thriving, and relevant organization in the next 100 years?

How can we build a community based on love?

How can you challenge yourself in Toastmasters to do more, be more, and have more?

What is the greatest challenge you've faced in life, and how did you overcome it?

MONDAY, JULY 29: MEETING RECAP - FRANTICALLY RUNNING

Our theme on Monday, July 29 was "Frantically Running," which relates to a rushing lifestyle filled with busyness and stress.

Kory May gave a speech that fit the theme well, sharing his story about going to New York City. There, he experienced a hustle-and-bustle lifestyle and met many interesting people. Michael also presented an engaging speech titled “Be One, Bring One, Build One.”

Be One - Train yourself.
Bring One - Help others by promoting Toastmasters values.
Build One - Through mentorship, bring more value to your members.
"Frantically Running" left many lessons for those who attended the meeting.

Join us at 7:00 am every Monday and receive even more valuable insights.
