LEADER AND ROLE MODEL: A standout Oakland high school student is being celebrated for not only his academic achievements, but his leadership and his contributions on and off the basketball court. In less than two weeks on Friday, December 5, the Annual Winter Artist Market will happen at the The Junior Center of Art and Science. It's shaping up to be an exciting array of students and staff taking part!
Students and staff Oakland Technical High School, Oakland High School Wildcats. Fremont High School, Home of the Tigers, Madison Park Academy - 6-12, Rudsdale High School, Montera Middle School PTO, and United for Success Academy will all be participating. They will be showing off and selling their creations including sketches, paintings, clothing, knitted and needlepoint creations, jewelry, and so many other items.
Come join the fun, see some amazing creations, and take some home for the holidays. It happens 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at 558 Bellevue Avenue.
