Join us for the Ribbon Cutting for the East 14th Street Corridor Improvement Project on Saturday, June 18 from 10am-12pm. Meet artist Miriam Klein Stahl who designed the artwork on East 14th Street, and learn how it was made. Make a print to take home with you and get a free tote bag with a butterfly image! Ribbon Cutting Event presented by Public Works Agency with Supervisor Miley. Art activity presented by the Alameda County Arts Commission in partnership with REACH Ashland Youth Center and the Arts & Creativity Program.

Meet the new California Arts Council (CAC) Director, Jonathan Moscone!

Join Californians for the Arts to learn about Jonathan’s career in the arts and how he intends to lead and grow the CAC. Jonathan will be in conversation with CFTA, and participants will have a chance to introduce themselves in the chat and ask questions.

It will distribute $1.95 million from CAC’s general fund to help artists and cultural practitioners who reside in the rich and diverse cultural communities of the state of California.
