We Can Build This. But Will We?
1 in 31 eight-year-olds is are diagnosed with Autism. California’s need is rising. Families are still driving across cities to stitch together care. That is not a problem we can keep postponing.
The Stone Academy Initiative has opened a capital campaign to create a lasting community asset in the Bay Area: a regulation-first campus, an integrated educational and therapeutic center, adaptive technology that puts communication first, and a scholarship endowment so belonging does not come with a cost.
The work is already mapped: site control, sensory-aware build-out, workforce pipeline, and outcomes that generalize beyond the walls. What it needs now is partners—families, philanthropists, builders, clinicians, employers, and neighbors who want this model to exist in the East Bay.
Capital makes the model visible. Governance makes it durable. Partnership makes it real.
