We are excited to announce that our Scholarship Community Voting is now OPEN!

To publicly showcase applicant’s submissions and engage you, our community, to join in supporting our visions for “Making A-G Real”, submissions are published every year and we ask you to cast your vote for the vision and student work that speaks to you.

So much love to our OUSD leadership teachers and OUSD educators who have supported and partnered with us since ACC’s inception!!

Finally, thank you to the powerful youth leaders who embarked on this journey last September and carried it all the way through to the WIN! You all put in hundreds of hours to learn and train other youth. You planned and organized the Student Power Voter Registration Drives to pre-register 16-17 year old to vote. You went canvassing. You planned meetings with your ACC representative student delegates, with your city council members, and your school board members. You conducted so much research and engaged your peers all along the way! Thank you for leading this movement and for modeling representative leadership, all while being a student in these times of COVID19! You are the real MVP!

You made Oakland Youth Vote real! Your dedication and commitment to educational justice is so inspiring and so needed in our city! Next step, let’s pass this in November!!

This victory is a testimony to the power of youth and the power of the community that stands with youth!
