🎓 Congratulations, EMT Sacramento Class 74! 🎉🚑

Project Heartbeat proudly celebrates the graduation of EMT Sacramento Class 74 from their 5-week accelerated program!

This class definitely kept things interesting! 🤣 It was a stressful five weeks for both the students and their instructors, with plenty of headaches along the way, BUT Class 74 continued to show up, work together, and push through every challenge.

After all the long days, hard lessons, and maybe a few “dad talks” along the way 😂, you pulled through and came out on top! You worked tirelessly, supported one another, and excelled in both skills and academics.

What makes us most proud is seeing how much you grew throughout the program. You may have tested our patience a few times, but you also gave us plenty of laughs and memories that we won’t soon forget. ❤️

Now it’s time to take everything you’ve learned and put it to work. We hope to see you out in the field using your knowledge, skills, and compassion to make a difference for your patients.

Best of luck, Class 74! The headaches are over… for now. 😉 Go out there, make us proud, and remember all those dad talks!

Project Heartbeat is proud to celebrate the graduation of EMT Oakland Class 83 from their 2.5 week accelerated program!

This class showed up with great attitudes, strong teamwork, and an incredible commitment to becoming better providers. You worked together through every challenge, supported one another, and came out on top through determination and hard work.

You worked tirelessly and excelled in both skills and academics, proving that dedication and teamwork can take you a long way. Your growth throughout these 2 weeks has been something to be proud of, and we couldn’t be happier to see you reach this milestone.

Now it’s time to take everything you’ve learned and bring it to the field. We hope to see you out there putting your knowledge, skills, and compassion to work for your patients and communities.

Meet the Program Director of our Vocation Nursing Program: Sheila Agno (MSN-Ed, RN)!

Sheila has worked as a registered nurse for 26 years including in emergency nursing and as a Case Manager. As adjunct faculty at San Francisco State University, Contra Costa College, and Solano Community College over more than 11 years, Sheila has developed an expertise in curriculum development, clinical instruction, student mentoring, and assisting with the development and launch of vocational nursing programs. Sheila is spearheading our inaugural LVN program and we could not be more excited!

Her teaching focus is in developing strong clinical judgement to ensure stellar patient care and expert clinical readiness by her students: “[I am] passionate about empowering future nurses through compassionate mentorship, high-quality education, and helping students build the confidence and competence to provide exceptional patient care.” Thank you Sheila!

Project Heartbeat proudly celebrates the graduation of EMT Sacramento Class 72 from their fast-paced 2.5-week accelerated program!

This class took on one of the most challenging EMS training schedules and rose to the occasion with determination, teamwork, and outstanding attitudes. From day one, you worked together, supported one another, and built strong bonds that helped carry you through every obstacle. It may have been a stressful few weeks for both the students and the instructors 🤣, but your dedication and perseverance never wavered.

Class 72 worked tirelessly and excelled in both skills and academics, proving that hard work truly pays off. And the results speak for themselves. Especially with a 100% pass rate! 💯👏 Every student who started the journey pushed hard, stayed focused, and crossed the finish line together.

This was a fun class filled with great personalities, positive energy, and a commitment to success. We are incredibly proud of everything you accomplished and the growth you’ve shown in such a short amount of time.
