We ❤️ our wonderful staff members. Today, we're celebrating Teacher Santiago. He is our music teacher, and wrote this about his class:

"The objective is to internalize music and rhythm in students through the following concepts: repetition, imitation, singing, exploration, play, coordination, attention. The idea is to develop hearing, psychomotor, emotional and cognitive abilities. To express themselves in society. The classes are based on listening to a list of songs, with piano and guitar accompaniment. We learn the melodies, the lyrics and practice the language. We play rhythms of various genres and complexities. We sing and learn to tune. We practiced the dissociation of singing over percussion. We perform repetition by imitation to absorb the themes. At the end of the class a relaxation routine is carried out."

Answer: Our educational philosophy offers self-portraits as a tool for not only art, but self-reflection. When a child creates an image of his or her self, they are portraying who they are inside. This aids in their self-confidence and our understanding of them as individuals. 🧠✨🌱
