🍎🎨 Little hands + apples + paint = the cutest fall masterpiece!

Looking for an easy fall activity to try at home? Our Apple Stamping Orchard is simple, colorful, and perfect for little learners. 🍂✨

Cut an apple in half, dip it into washable paint, and let your child stamp away! Once the apples are finished, add trunks and branches to turn those colorful prints into their very own orchard. 🌳🍎

It’s a fun way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, color recognition, and plenty of “LOOK WHAT I MADE!” moments. 💜💚

And we love the reminder from Ecclesiastes 3:11: “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” 🌱

🌟 Small steps today, BIG independence tomorrow! 💜💚

At Lakeside Christian Academy, we love watching our little learners grow in confidence as they discover just how much they can do on their own! From putting away their belongings to trying a new task, every little moment of independence is something worth celebrating. 🙌

This week’s Parenting Minute is a reminder to start small, praise the effort, and be their support along the way. Giving children the opportunity to try—even when it takes a little longer—helps build confidence, responsibility, and skills that will last a lifetime. 💜

This October, our LCA staff is proudly wearing pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💕

Together, we stand in support of the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those who have touched our hearts. 🩷

A BIG thank you to all of our LCA families who joined us today by dressing their little ones in PINK! 💗 It was so special seeing our classrooms filled with pink as we came together to spread awareness, love, and support!

While our students are enjoying their day off, our teachers are hard at work this Teacher Planning Day! 💜💚

Today, our team is rolling up their sleeves and giving our classrooms, toys and learning materials some extra TLC! 🫧 From building blocks to sensory toys, we're deep cleaning and sanitizing to help keep those pesky germs away and create a healthy, happy learning environment for our little ones!

We are so thankful for our amazing teachers who go above and beyond to make LCA a safe, clean, and welcoming place for our students. 💕

While our students enjoy a day at home, our LCA team will be busy behind the scenes planning, preparing, training, and getting everything ready to continue making our classrooms the very best they can be! ✏️🍎

🚒🔥 That's a wrap on Fire Safety Week! 🧯❤️

A HUGE thank you to the Oakland Fire Department for stopping by LCA and helping us wrap up Fire Safety Week in such a fun and memorable way! 🚨

Our little learners had the BEST time meeting our local heroes, exploring the fire truck, checking out their firefighting gear and learning all about fire safety! 👩‍🚒🚒

We are so grateful for the time, patience and kindness these firefighters showed our students while teaching them such important lessons. It's safe to say we have a few future firefighters in the making! ❤️

Thank you Oakland FD for all you do to keep our community safe and for making this such a memorable experience for our LCA kiddos! 💚💜

🚨🔥Our littlest firefighters are on the scene! 🚒🧑‍🚒

Our Waddlers jumped into action during Fire Safety Week with a hands-on sensory rescue mission! Using shaving cream, food coloring, and little people in need of saving, our tiny heroes worked hard to put out the “flames” and rescue everyone in sight! ❤️

Through messy play, our Waddlers explored different textures, practiced fine motor skills, and learned all about our brave community helpers!
