Both singles are from the students in our after school program at St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Oakland.

We’re so proud of the students for working together as a team to write songs, rehearse, and create artwork to make their very own original records!

Muswell Hill, a leafy North London suburb, is the formative home of The Kinks, shaping their observational songwriting and inspiring the 1971 album Muswell Hillbillies. Brothers Ray and Dave Davies grew up at 6 Denmark Terrace, Fortis Green, and formed the band in the early 1960s with local friends.

Our 3 O’Clock Rock summer tour will take us to Muswell Hill, home of The Kinks, and plenty more iconic places including recording at the famous Abbey Road Studios!
