We are a child care and family service center in West Oakland working to ensure that children of working families are well-educated and nurtured, and their parents empowered to meet family responsibilities.

Our children had the joy of choosing culturally affirming books to take home, while families received fresh produce and groceries. We’re so grateful to Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, Alameda County Community Food Bank, and Oakland Literacy Coalition for bringing literacy, nutrition, and community together in such a meaningful way for our children and families. 💛

Last week, we celebrated a special milestone filled with smiles, laughter, and proud moments. We are so proud of our Starfish & Jellyfish graduates and can't wait to see all they accomplish as they begin first grade. 🌟

💙 Happy Father's Day!

We loved celebrating the fathers, father figures, and role models in our community with coffee, donuts, and refreshments during a special morning together. ☕🍩

Throughout the week, our children also created thoughtful cards and keepsakes to show their love and appreciation. 🎨💙

Thank you to the dads, grandfathers, uncles, and mentors who show up with love, support, and encouragement every day. We appreciate you and all that you do!
