Last Friday, we got a fusion 360 workshop to learn how to use the program for 3D printing. Our aim was drawing a lampshade. It was totally profitable experience to us!

Today, we held our 1st club rush successfully!

*We need volunteers* to man the PEMS table.

Club rush is happening this Tuesday and Wednesday (March 1st and 2nd) from 11:30 – 1:30 pm in the quad. It is important that PEMS participate in this event for the sake of diplomacy in the ICC.

If you can join us, please respond to email ([email protected]) ASAP and let us know. We will meet in the quad at 11:30 tomorrow to begin setting up.

Even if you cannot stay the entire time, your help is still very much appreciated. Your job will be to talk about the cool projects we are working on, hand out flyers, and keep an eye on our stuff. It is important that we get at least a couple volunteers for this task.

Reminder: This Friday is a school holiday, so our next meeting will be on Friday, February 19th in room A239 at Laney College.

We have a lot of great projects going on this semester—next meeting will continue our 3D printer build as well as flight testing our drone. A CNC machine project is also in the works. Check us out unboxing our 3D printer components below.

Welcome Spring 2016 students! Our first official meeting of the semester will be this Friday, February 5th at 12:00 pm in room A239 at Laney College. This semester we will be building a 3D printer and finishing our drone. We can also help you develop any project ideas you might have. Come join us!

Join us at 5:00 pm this Friday, November 13th in room A239 at Laney College for a discussion panel on art and engineering. We have brought together five experts who work at the intersection of art, design, and engineering. Come talk to a product design engineer, LED artist, architect, and sculptural artists and learn how STEM fields incorporate creativity and design.
