A few graduation throwbacks because we miss our seniors already! 🎓

From first-day jitters to standing proudly on stage, it’s been an honor to watch this incredible class grow, create, lead, and leave their mark on our community.

While we’re sad to see them go, we’re so excited for all that lies ahead. Once an OSA student, always part of the OSA family. ✨

Congratulations again, Class of 2026 — we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!

🎭✨ OSA at the Tony Awards ✨🎭

From the halls of OSA to Broadway’s biggest night!

We are thrilled to celebrate two incredible OSA alumni who performed at the 79th Annual Tony Awards:

🌟 Kent Overshown performed in Ragtime, which took home 4 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. Directed by Lear deBessonet and presented by Lincoln Center Theater, the acclaimed revival continues its Broadway run through August 2026.

🌟 B Noel performed in Cats: The Jellicle Ball, bringing their artistry and talent to one of the most talked-about productions of the season.

Seeing OSA alumni shine on Broadway’s biggest stage is a powerful reminder of where passion, dedication, and artistic excellence can lead. We are incredibly proud of Kent, B Noel, and all of our alumni who continue to make their mark on the world.

Congratulations on this extraordinary achievement! ❤️🖤

We are so proud of our rising junior, Isaiah Kahn, for becoming the 2026 Oakland Youth Poet Laureate 💫

This is a huge accomplishment that we know is only the beginning of his strides as a profound poet and literary artist.

Congratulations, Zay! 🥳🥳

The OSA Leadership Team spent the last two weeks reflecting on the year and preparing for the years ahead. Quality time and connection was spent together.

Through leaderships time together, they were able to talk strategy, approach, and culture. They were able to begin feeling the excitement and gratitude that arises when approaching 25 years of serving youth.

May your summer be filled with laughter and joy!

Vocal music got to sing at the and had an absolutely amazing time!

We are so grateful to all the venues who supported us throughout the year(s) especially for our end of the year showcases and galleries.

With ten pathways and over 800 students, it can be sometimes difficult to secure spaces and support for our shows— however with your help & the help of amazing organizations and companies across the Bay Area — every year we get more aligned to the OSA Way & increasing access for youth across Oakland and beyond. 💫
