East Bay Open Studios is back for two weekends this December with over 180+ artists opening their studios to the public. This free, self-guided event invites you to visit artist studios, pop-ups, and galleries in Oakland, Berkeley, and beyond. Our Winter event is the perfect time to holiday shop for unique, hand-made gifts while supporting local artists and makers. See paintings, prints, ceramics, sculptures and more!

Our Mending Lab was on fire this week 🔥 with some seriously cool projects! From bold, visible mending to subtle, barely-there repairs, we’re helping people bring new life to their favorite pieces—while keeping things sustainable. ♻️💚 Check out the galaxy shirt 🌌 … can you spot the hidden mending work?

"I started this shawl on October 18, 2020 and Completed it in April of 2021. I was excited to make this pattern because I couldn’t tell from the photos how it was constructed. There are multiple cast-ons hidden in the interior of the shawl. I put a lot of thought into the colors incorporated into this yarn and am most proud of the subtle pink mottling that is shared by the red yarn and the light gray yarn." ~Pixie's Fiber Fabrications
