Update: So Today’s TEE echocardiogram was not fun at all but I made it through. The hardest part was swallowing the camera. Kinda didn’t feel much of the tube after that. The procedure took about 25 mins.

Results: I do have leakage inside my heart. It’s of the medium category. My cardiologist is going to consult my surgeon to get his opinion. The only way to fix this is to once again go back inside my heart via open heart surgery. Yes i asked. For now he is going to continue to monitor the situation. My LVEF is at 45% which is fantastic.

Now what: I can continue to run when temps are not has high as they have been. In fact my cardiologist thinks physically that I’m in great health. My next visit to see him is August 3rd.

Faith: I still believe God has got this taken care of. I believe it with all my heart. Thank you everyone for the prayers and continued prayers. It means son much to have family and friends in your corner.

God chose to save me and keep me around for awhile longer. I’m doing my best to be healthy and live a quality life. Nothing is a given in this life. Dedication, hard work, faith and heart are required. If you are having trouble getting motivated, by all means just holler. This is by no means easy for me either. With God’s help, I get out there and do it. I don’t want to ever be laying in a hospital bed for a month or even a day again.

Update....
I wanted to show you guys what’s helping keep me alive. It’s NOT comfortable and it is tight, but let me tell you, when it’s your lifeline, you learn to get comfortable with it. Notice I have a big long scar for the open heart, then a sideways scar for the 3rd surgery to draw fluid off my heart. I can’t show y’all where the 3rd scar is, but it’s healing. I’m living with these wires out of the back. They aren’t to bad. I’m walking as much as this weather allows. Recovery is going to be very slow, In fact it will take months or even a year, but “The comeback has begun!”

So I finished watching 13 reasons why tonight. Very emotional and tough to watch. I pray that anyone struggling finds help. I know life is so very hard at times. Heck I'm struggling myself! But we have to be there for each other.

Reach out to someone.

Often times those hurting and needing help are afraid to ask. Ashamed even. Already hurting enough.

If YOU are in that position, PLEASE let someone know. You may even have to spell it out. Sometimes folks just don't SEE the obvious.

We have to DO better as the human race. We have to live and love each other way more than we do now. I TRY very hard to help folks on a daily basis but we sometimes get caught up in our own lives and miss those hurting the most. There is help. I know there is. The struggle is real. We all live out our own struggles daily. Let's ALL do better....Please!

Feeling very motivated! 1000 run miles in a year. That was my goal May 14th 2016... still 6 days to go and my goal accomplished plus some. 😊
