I found a piece of myself in Sedona 💚 🌵
First road trip of the year was a success. Oakland ➡️ San Diego ➡️ Scottsdale ➡️ Sedona ➡️ Joshua Tree and I loved every moment connecting with one of my favorite people 🤍
Life has been filled lately. Filled with love, joy, connections, integration, and so much more. I ended 2023 with the acceptance that joy and strength can live in tandem. 2023 was such a whirlwind and as I reflect, there is one thing that truly stands out. I fell in love with myself. There is so much to be proud of and still so much to accomplish 🫶🏾
Amidst all the changes, there have been a few consistencies/life updates…
1. Yes, I’m still taking my clothes off in nature every chance I get
2. I love road trips
3. I finished my first semester of my doctoral peogram
4. I did two 7 day water fasts in 2023
5. Relationships are hard but I’m working on showing up for the people that show up for me
6. This Saturn return is something else
7. My favorite hobby is driving ridiculously far to discover new coffee shops that are aesthetically pleasing

I crave being naked in nature. The more I talk to people the more I realize this desire is a priveledge.
My ancestors were forced to be naked, they weren’t given the choice, autonomy was not a part of the discussion.
So as I heal from the generational trauma embedded in my bones, I chose to show up in any situation in a way that brings me joy.
Showing the trees my b***s are one of the many things that are bringing me joy these days 🫶🏾🤍

Proud to say I no longer feel anxious in a bikini. The body hasn’t changed I’m just actually happy 🫶🏾 🤎
On this day I almost put on a different bikini because it had a little more coverage, not much, just a little more coverage. Then I said to myself, nobody cares Elasha. Wear the damn bikini.
Funny how I would rather be n**e in the ocean but still find negative thoughts trying to squeeze their way into my day to day.
Also, shoutout to the friends that hype you up and take fire photos of you 🙌🏾🙌🏾

2. Spending more time doing the things that make me feel truly alive
3. Making more decisions with the intention of protecting my joy devoid fear
