Please welcome the newest member of the Second Star Team, Leza Cassidy!

Leza is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at National University. She is a Registered Behavior Technician with experience supporting children and individuals with developmental disabilities across school, home, and community settings, including prior experience as a special education teacher. Leza is passionate about helping clients build confidence, independence, and meaningful life skills.

Outside of work, Leza enjoys staying active through running and hiking, especially in places with waterfalls, green landscapes, and blooming flowers. She also loves cooking, trying new foods, and bringing friends together over meals she prepares. Traveling to visit friends and family and exploring new places are some of her favorite ways to recharge and connect with others.

Hi Everyone. We have a tentative 4-day Yoga/Wellness Camp Scheduled in Oakland from 6/22-6/25 for teens (14+) through older adults.

We will schedule once we get 5+ interested participants.

Have you met Leonela Morales, the newest addition to the Second Star team?

Leonela earned a B.A. in Psychology from Cal State East Bay in 2021 and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University. She is a with experience applying behavior analytic techniques to support students and clients across school, home, and community settings.

In addition to her work in behavior analysis, Leonela is a trained veterinary assistant and brings a diverse professional background in property management and retail supervision. This unique combination of skills strengthens her ability to develop individualized, meaningful programs for clients and to provide effective leadership and support to staff.

Leonela approaches her work with empathy, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous learning. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every client she serves.
