Next week at the Main Library, Yotam Marom will be in conversation with Malkia Devich Cyril, and special guest Lu Aya of the Peace Poets.

Brooklyn-based organizer and facilitator Yotam Marom comes to the Bay Area with his debut For Louder Days: Reaching Beyond a Politics of Powerlessness, a brilliant, lyrical clarion cry for a more honest, more strategic, more loving approach to progressive activism and movement building, driven by stories and lessons from a life in the movement.

Yotam will be joined in conversation by acclaimed organizer, strategist, and author Malkia Devich Cyril. The event will include poetry by Lu Aya of the Peace Poets, whose songs have been used in many of the movement moments of the past decade, and the discussion will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
