After a year of renovations, the Brookfield Branch is reopening! 🪩 🥳

Upgrades were made to improve sustainability, accessibility and the overall visitor experience. What does that mean exactly? A modernized interior, a new outdoor children's programming area, updated furnishings, and of course a fresh coat of paint. Come experience it for yourself this Saturday!

Brookfield Branch is re-opening and the ribbon cutting with Mayor Barbara Lee is this Saturday! ✂️🎀 Come welcome back this newly renovated community space with us. 😊 There’ll be free food, face painting, a children’s musical performance, a teen cooking workshop, a performance by Oakland Youth Poet Laureate finalist Diego Aguilar-Rivera, and more.

Together, we'll explore ways to navigate rejection, quiet self-doubt, and maintain momentum during periods of uncertainty. Participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to support both their job search and their overall resilience.

It's Thursday night. You've had a long day at work, it's nearly the weekend, and you're ready for a treat to help you unwind. This is the premise of Jennifer Newens' Thursday Night Tiki Lounge, a collection of 52 drinks recipes. 🍹😌
