How do I make an appointment with my DSPS counselor?
You have 3 different options to make an appointment
Call us 510-464-3428 state your name, student ID, contact info and times you are available
Email us at [email protected] State your name, student ID, contact info phone number and preferred dates and times
E-SARS (please make sure your telephone and email is correct in SARS)
How can I communicate with the DSPS office?
You may reach us at 510-464-3428 and we will get back to you asap
Will the High tech center be open?
Due to the Shelter in Place, The High Tech Center Services are currently only available remotely. Please contact [email protected] or [email protected]

Will there still be tutoring?
Yes! Absolutely, please schedule DSPS tutoring with [email protected]

How do I get my audio books?
Please email your 1. Class schedule 2. syllabus 3. Books you’d like in audio format to [email protected], [email protected]
I want to use my extra time for tests, what should I do?
If you have a copy of your accommodations letter with approved test time accommodations, scan/take a picture of it at least 1 week before your exam and email it to your instructor requesting your extra time.
If you do not have a copy of your accommodations letter, please contact the Laney DSPS office for a copy. Please give us ample time to get the letter to you.
Will classes be on campus during summer 2020?
At this time Summer 2020 courses will be fully online.
I do not have access to internet.
Please contact the Laney DSPS office if you have no internet access.
I do not have access to technology required to complete my courses.
