Today is the last Tuesday to get books until August 5th. Please come get some books for your kids to read this summer.

A giant thank you to Anna Erickson who rented a truck and delivered 1952 stunning new books to us. Here she is (in the red shirt) among all our happy volunteers. We had so much fun looking at the books. Come Tuesday, May 27th or Saturday June 7th. We want kids to have as much fun as we did reading these books.

The San Leandro High School library committee just held the best fundraiser ever for us. A pancake after school event complete with a jazz band and great decorations. When I got there, kids were lined up to get pancakes. Librarians and the kids had 3 griddles going. Honored to be their chosen charity and can't wait to see how much money they made.
