Waveform is hosting a q***r sober sip ‘n’ paint on Friday! We’re making hot apple c***r, putting on a nostalgic fall-themed playlist (Golden Girls? Weezer? Think 90’s, back to school, Casper and Practical Magic). Staff will be available for tips and tricks for drawing and painting a still life - doodling and coloring welcome, all skills invited. We’ll provide viewfinders and some tips we retained from art school

We are hosting our second Crafternoon this weekend! Waveform will be posted up at the picnic benches on Bolivar and Bancroft, by the bike shop. We’ll have the grill going, so BYO extras (some veggies will already be sizzling to share), and crafts - like propagating plants in Waveform work that was never picked up (their abandoned work, your treasure), printing patterns and designs on tote bags, coloring and painting. Three art teachers sharing their extra supplies in the park, tunes, kiddos and dogs welcome 🙂

In two weeks, I’ll have to curb work from April, May and June :( I don’t have space for it anymore! PLEASE come get your work, I still have 40 bags of work to hand off. Pick up instructions are on the site, and currently I have work ready from April 12th - September 8th 2026!

The Wood Shop is open at Waveform, and we have two classes coming up - this Friday at 6pm and Sunday at 10:30am. The Wood Block Printing class is super fun and still has five spots! Beginner friendly, learn about carving and take home a custom carving (that you can re-use!), as well as a printed bandana in your color choices, featuring your design. The Beginner Woodworking workshop introduces you to all the essential power tools in the shop and you leave with a fabulous cheeseboard. Link in bio to book!

Waveform is hosting a Wood Block Printing workshop in a few weeks! This class was SO FUN (I took the test run a few weeks ago). This three hour workshop includes light refreshments, and all the supplies and instruction needed to carve your own wood block and print a design on a bandana to bring home! Makes a stylish accessory or thoughtful gift. Come hang and tell a friend! Link in bio

I am stoked to put on another Sip ‘n’ Paint! It’s been a while, and who doesn’t love a fall-themed tablescape and cozy mocktail. Enjoy the studio with friends in a low stakes paint hang - I’ll do a demo and be around for tips and support throughout the event. $45 - supplies and mocktail included. Link in bio to book!

Finally starting to test colors!!! Waveform is getting a new pallete :)

Also, soon you'll be able to glaze your own work 💙

Every month Waveform hosts Claybody, a sliding scale offering specifically for folks going through it (which is most of us at this point). $20 - 40, this workshop includes hand-building and wheel-throwing. Decompress with community - small classes, chill vibes, fire playlists. Come as you are

Waveform is hosting another sober sip 'n' paint, at long last! Sober q***rs who like to paint in a low stakes environment, I'm looking at uuuu

I used to do these every few months and I'm looking forward to hosting ya'll in the new space. Instead of all painting the same thing with step by step instructions, I will provide a fall-themed tablescape with fun things to observe, and collage materials if you want to incorporate those, too. I'll be there for tips / help, but this is a more freeform than your usual sip 'n' paint.
