The PTO is for all parents, guardians and teachers of Oakview Middle School students. The PTO:
- Raises funds, primarily through "Pay-Not-To-Fundraise" donations
- Coordinates the Box Tops for Education fundraising program
- Determines a budget to distribute funds raised
- Organizes Friends and Fun Nights for Oakview students
- Organizes dinners for staff on Parent/Teacher conference nights and St

aff Appreciation nights

In order to do all of this the PTO:
- Meets several times throughout the school year.
- Holds a budget planning meeting in fall each year to determine the budget for the school year.
- Coordinates volunteers for various events for the school year. (If you are interested in volunteering for anything, please go to our web site for more information. Sign-ups for actual events are done through “SignUpGenius”.)
