We have a 600 clock hour program that boils down to 4 simple elements: Speed, skill, accuracy and of course confidence. We have instructors with over 40 years of grooming experience. We have facilities that are excellent and administrative staff with over 45 years in the pet industry.

When we put this all together, it gives our students a wealth of information, a solid foundation and a confidence to know that when they graduate, they will have a great start in our profession. We assist in job placement, have school financing, and will assist our graduates go into business for themselves. We are very excited about the Pet Grooming Industry today, it has moved into a new era. The reason why we have all noticed this change is because people today treat their pets like their children, and rightfully so! They are our "Fur Children" and we care and adore them! When this feeling exists, it spills out into all aspects of care and we are a part of that caring process! Merryfield CUSTOMERS!! We are opening our school once again on Monday, May 18, 2020. Please call to set up appointment for your pet. The number is 954-771-4030 and we are booking fast! We also have new safety procedures and an addendum to our process for drop-off and pick-up to ensure a higher level of safety for our students, faculty, staff and customers. Book early as times are filling up fast. Our students are excited about being back and grooming your pet. Remember that these are students and are still learning everyday. Thank you!

Merryfield STUDENTS!! We are opening our school once again on Monday, May 18, 2020. Classes will resume at 8:30 am for day students (MWF) and 5:30 pm for evening students (M-TH). We have made many changes to the classrooms, to increase social distancing and we will be providing masks, shields, ear plugs, hand sanitizers to all students, faculty and staff. Please ensure you take precautions on your own. Welcome back students after many weeks of online classes with our wonderful instructors. Thank you for your patience. We will get through this together!

Merryfield is excited to announce that we have started to teach the pet grooming program in Spanish earlier this year. This provides more students the opportunity join our school and complete grooming program. The Spanish program is the same length and schedule as our regular program; just taught by Spanish speaking National Groomers. So exciting. Hello!

Merryfield School of Pet Grooming is one of the very few schools in the country that is state licensed and federally accredited. This means there are federal grants and loans available to our students if they qualify. Like any college!
We offer a 600 clock hour program that is hands-on. It is not a video education. It’s working with real dogs all the time. We are like a beauty school for dogs. It’s the only way to really learn the skill set necessary to competently learn Professional Pet Grooming. We have some of the top people in the country teaching at the school and are nationally recognized as a leader in the industry.
So we can be the best , but if you don’t know about us, then best doesn’t count!!
