THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HARD TRAINING AND STUPID TRAINING.

Hard training has a purpose.

Stupid training just hurts.

We believe in pressure. Conditioning. Contact. Resistance. Accountability.

We also believe coaches should understand why they're asking you to do something.

More isn't automatically better.

Harder isn't automatically smarter.

The goal isn't to survive Killer B.

The goal is to become better because you train here.

That applies whether you're preparing for a fight or preparing for Monday morning.

If you want to disappear into a room wearing headphones, we're definitely the wrong gym.

People will know your name here.

They'll notice when you're getting better.

Eventually they'll notice when you're missing.

We want progress to be visible in what you can actually do.

Can you hold position?

Can you escape?

Can you defend a jab?

Can you maintain your stance under pressure?

Can you wrestle when you're tired?

Can you execute against somebody who doesn't want you to?

The opponent doesn't know what color belt you're wearing.

Neither does the problem.

We teach toward capability.

Who notices the hand dropping?

Who knows when to push?

Who knows when not to?

Who can explain why something works instead of telling you to do it because that's how they were taught?

Facilities matter.

We've taught thousands of rounds.

Coached beginners.

Built champions.

Lost fights we thought we'd win.

Won fights nobody thought we could.

Changed techniques when better information came along.

Thrown away things we once believed.

It's true in jiu jitsu.
It's true in life.
