An incredible $5000 donation for the playground project from First Community Credit Union! We are so thankful for their generosity and support of our school and community!

Children deserve a safe place to play, build relationships and grow.✅ We are happy to announce that we made a $5,000 donation to the Oakes Elementary Playground Improvement Project. Coming together with the community of Oakes to help make this a reality is something we are really excited about and we can't wait to see the positive impact this makes on this wonderful community.

🥧 Prizes REDEEMED! 🎉

This OES learner had TWO golden tickets from the spring silent auction — and Friday was finally the day! 🙌

He chose the one and only Mrs. Weber as his pie target 🎯 (sorry, not sorry, Mrs. Weber! 😄) and treated his whole class to a bonus hour of outdoor recess — complete with snacks! ☀🍎

From the auction block to the great outdoors, this kiddo made the most of every moment. That’s how you cash in like a champion! 🏆

We love seeing our learners enjoy the fruits (and pies 🥧) of PTO events!

🚨 RIDING TO SCHOOL IN STYLE! 🚨Our silent auction winners got the ultimate Monday morning upgrade — arriving at school in a first responder motorcade! A very special thanks to our amazing Oakes Police Department, Oakes Fire Department, and Oakes Volunteer Ambulance crew members getting in on the fun! 🚔🚒🚑

It was an absolutely EPIC way to roll up to school - thank you for all you do for our community! We are so grateful! 🙌❤️

Big smiles and big fun continue thanks to our Silent Auction winners! 🎉

✔️ Our Elementary Principal for the Morning did an outstanding job leading the way and making important “principal decisions.” 👏
✔️ That same student cashed in his Bonus Recess — extra time to run, play, and enjoy the sunshine!

The celebration continued with a Junior Class Pizza Party — great food and even better company! 🍕

And Mr. Schneider’s 3rd period class enjoyed a fun hour uptown at Sisters Kitchen — a perfect way to wrap up the excitement!

Our Silent Auction winners are officially cashing in their prizes! 🎉👏

This week we had a 7th grade pizza party 🍕, a 1st grade pizza party 🍕, a 4th grade pizza party 🍕, an off campus lunch with an OPS staff member, and even a morning spent as OHS Principal for the Day! 🏫✨

So fun to see these experiences come to life and watch our students enjoy every minute of it!

Thank you to everyone who bid, supported, and helped make the auction a success. We appreciate you in our pursuit of raising funds for new playground equipment!🧡🖤

Two lucky winners cashed in their purchased experiences last night at the final home boys basketball game of the season — and they did an amazing job!
