Greetings All ~ A wonderful group of folks ~ some traveling from great distances, will be gathering at Tulli's Taphouse to celebrate the milestone of the 40th Anniversary of our Graduation! Unlike so many events that occur on a long autumn holiday weekend, this will not be an annual event. Incrementally speaking, 2024 will be the next graduation anniversary to mark with the potential of a reunion event. Trust me; I more than understand that for the absolute majority of us, our lives are far busier than we care them to be. For me, this unfortunately is part of the reason that this event was managed the way that it has been. Several factors came into play as well including that Montville High School no longer supports databases and mailings for such events. This combined with and the lack of available funds, lead to me taking the advice that came from folks including those from the school to advertise and promote it through social media and to rely on word of mouth. The concept seemed as though it could work ~ so a simple but unique event in a casual, approachable, atmosphere; different from the classic sit-down buffet dinner-dance event was planned at a beautiful venue where we all could gather comfortably to enjoy great food, music and fun conversations catching up with old friends and classmates. This, I am thrilled to say, WILL STILL HAPPEN...and it's gonna be a great night! I realize that the lack and timing of provided information has unfortunately meant that so many of you already had commitments...this I regret more than you know. But please know that it is NOT TOO LATE to purchase tickets if you can at all modify your plans so that you can attend. If this is the case, please reach back out to those that you would love to have there with you to share in this celebration and encourage them to join us as well.
