We had a blast at the Anderson County Community Resource Fair today! 💜🌈

We loved connecting with families, community partners, and so many amazing local resources. Days like today are such a great reminder of how much can happen when our community comes together to support families.

Today we kicked off our first event of the 2026–27 school year at the Clinton Community Center's Back-to-School Bash! 🎉

We had such a great time meeting families, handing out stickers, and giving kids their very own Emotional Toolbox to take home. It was amazing watching everyone leave with free school supplies, bounce house memories, and hopefully a few new tools for navigating big feelings.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and made the day so special. We can't wait to see this event continue to grow and we're already looking forward to what next year's Back-to-School Bash will bring! 💜🌈

Happy 14th Birthday to the boy who started it all. 🧡

Today we celebrate our sweet Xander—the heart behind Xander’s Place. Without this incredible young man, this mission would never have existed. His life has inspired a community, a movement, and a place where families know they belong.

We truly can’t believe you’re 14. You’re growing so tall, so smart, so kind, and so incredibly handsome… and somehow you already have a mustache! 😭😂 Time, please slow down.

Xander, thank you for inspiring us every single day to create a more inclusive world. Because of you, thousands of families have found support, hope, and community. What an incredible legacy for a 14-year-old.

We are so grateful we get to celebrate you today—especially on a birthday you share with our amazing Executive Director, Kami. July 11 will always be one of our favorite days to celebrate the two people who have shaped Xander’s Place in such meaningful ways.

Today we celebrate the heart behind Xander’s Place—our fearless leader, visionary, and friend.

Kami, thank you for leading with courage, compassion, and an unwavering belief that every child and every family deserves to belong. Your servant’s heart inspires all of us, and because of your leadership, our nonprofit continues to create spaces where connection truly matters.

Beyond everything you do for Xander’s Place, you are an incredible wife, a devoted mama to three amazing kiddos, a loving daughter, a supportive sister, and one of the most selfless people we know. You are a true wave maker and change maker for the special needs community, and your impact reaches far beyond what words can express.
