🥋We lost an incredible man today.

The patriarch of my martial arts instruction. Hanshi Mike Pace was more than just a martial artist, though an incredible one at least, his impact on thousands of students is deeply ingrained. 

Hanshi was a mentor, father figure, business consultant, fellow brother of Christ, and an outstanding friend.

Not only could he out fish you with a rusty hook and a piece of corn, he’d tell you exactly when the bite was coming.

I am a better man for the precious time I was blessed to spend with him over the past 20 years. There was still so much to learn and will resume when we meet again.

You’ve traded in your “broken body” and I can only imagine the hook kick your throwing with your best and most perfect self now.

Forever grateful Sir.
