Hello AYSO Families,

We are writing today to inform you of an acute need for our fall program. All AYSO roles are held by volunteers, we are extremely short of coaches for our fall teams. Currently only 7 head coaches and 5 assistant coaches are registered. I have contacted several former coaches and assistant coaches who still have children in the program, but none have registered yet.

Our most pressing needs are head coaches for 10U girls (1), 10U boys (1), 12U girls assistant (1), 12U boys (1), 14U coed (1) and 18U coed (1). I also need coaches for the 8U teams, but there is a little more time to solve this problem. I am now turning to you for help. Step up and be a coach if you have the time and are physically able. Not knowing anything about soccer is not an excuse as we will help you get started. If you know people who you think could coach, encourage them to volunteer. We need to get these positions ASAP as the season is getting ready to get started with coaches and parent meetings coming up next week. Our program is in need, please help.

Complete coach training on AYSOU
Background check is emailed from Sterling Volunteers and you will get refunded for the $25 by emailing your confirmation receipt and mailing address to Susan [email protected]
Complete online safety trainings on AYSOU-list is in your volunteer tab

Volunteers must be 12YO and older, youth cannot be head coaches but can assist.

Referee training:
August 22nd-Maryville SuperCamp for the all day referee course-this course does not require online prerequisite. Sign up and attend!
August 29th- Companion referee course in Oak Ridge-this course requires an online prerequisite to begin, must attend the field portion on this date to complete certification

VOLUNTEERS HOURS!!!

Registration extended to August 20th for 10U-12U.
6U/Jamboree closes online September 1st
14U-18U closes September 1st
EPIC remains open all season (Friday program for players with disabilities)

Hello AYSO Families,

Attached is the flyer for uniform events. If you have a new player or can't find your jersey set, please come by one of the events!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The events run smooth and quick with more volunteers to help families get the items they need for their player.

Parent meeting will be August 24th or 25th.

Jamboree players needing peewee sizes-we are low on shin guards and socks for the kits. Those will arrive later than the first event, we encourage jamboree players to wait until the next event to obtain their kit for the 4 year olds.

Jamboree begins Sept 8th on Tuesdays -Coach Pete will email closer to start date

6U begins Sept 7th-Mondays-Coaches needed!

8U practices begin August 31st

10U - 18U boys and girls will start if all coaches are registered fully online August 24th
