We are a non-profit organization that offers classes in many subject areas including Art, History, Science, Literature, and Medicine.

Fall 2026 schedules will be available to pick up on Tuesday, August 25 between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the office. If you do not pick your schedule up on Tuesday, August 25th, it will be mailed to you on Wednesday, August 26th. If you have not registered for the fall term, please do so as soon as possible. Many of the classes have already filled up, and space is limited in many of the other classes.

Fall 2026 catalogs have been mailed. Online registration opens on Tuesday, August 4 at 9:00 am. Paper registration forms are being accepted in the office and will be completed on August 5th. You may go online on August 1 to purchase your annual membership prior to registering on August 4 if you choose to register online. By purchasing your membership early, the registration process should be smoother for you. The cost for a 1-year membership is $190 (plus $6 online).

Fall 2026 course catalogs are available in the ORICL office and classrooms. This is a full catalog with 99 classes being offered! It is also time to purchase annual memberships. For $190 you will be able to take as many classes as you like over three terms! ORICL is a great value for Oak Ridge residents who love to learn!
