Here's how I plan out a life audit.

You can use your own personal categories based on the themes or desires that the retrogrades reveal for you OR use general categories such as

Health
Finances
Relationships
Creativity
Spirituality
Intellectual

Then, just take account for what your current status in these areas are, what your desires are, and what may need to change.

Then, create goals or set intentions to address these areas.

Pick perhaps 1 or 2 things to start with as this will lead to greater success.

What does Inanna do at the gates of the underworld? When met with the task of accepting the ways of the underworld or giving up on her quest, Inanna continues along her path.

When we are met with facing loss, change, and release during times of descent, there is a way to move forward. That path will be unique for each of us.

This Venus retrograde, get curious about where you can accept what is without judgment so you can begin to identify the options available to you.

And now, let's get into the descent.

As we get closer to the upcoming Venus retrograde on Oct 3rd, we find ourselves in different versions of our own stories.

Sharing stories related to inner work can activate and provide a path for us to follow.

Where are you in your story?

Are you descending? Or perhaps you're already upon the meathook (we'll get there in Innana's story).

Are you in the tower, or have you turned your ear not towards the ground, but towards your sisters who implore you to look at what's been kept from you like Psyche?

Or maybe after a long day of work and a yummy drink after dinner- you realize you've lost a part of yourself. Like Oya, you now must bide your time to get back to who you're meant to be.

Hi, my loves,

Have you heard the call for the descent? Autumn arrives this weekend, and with it, Venus reaches max brightness.

I think of this as a lantern in the darkness.

A moment before, we officially enter the retrograde, which signals a loss of Venus's presence in the night sky.

So, how do we prep for entering the underworld?

First, we identify our resources. As they say, find the helpers. This can be a friend, family member, or someone in your community you trust.

Or perhaps this is a part of yourself who is a protector, guide, or assistant.

Be honest with yourself about your needs and what will make this work easier for you.

Then give out the tasks!

Tomorrow, we'll meet Innanas' sister Erishkigal.
