David Rodgers has been a piano teacher / guitar lessons instructor for over 11 years. He tries to make lessons fun by encouraging students to choose their own songs and styles to learn. David is not a strict teacher, but he does remind students that no one else can practice their instruments for them. He teaches both out of his home in Oak Park and at students' homes. Method Books: David generally teaches piano from Alfred Method (both children's and adult versions) and guitar from Hal Leonard Method. However, he is open to choosing the method book you like/already have, or he will also teach lessons without a method book. Siblings/Friends: Two siblings or friends in the same house can each take a 30 minute lesson and be charged the 60 minute rate. Pricing:
