Congratulations to our Oakland University Wade McCree Inductees! 15 Scholars are guaranteed a 4 year full ride to Oakland University totaling up to $100,000 each, pending they maintain at least a 3.0 GPA at graduation. Congratulations to Heaven Alford, Ania Cole, Christina Daoud, Thierno Dia, Jamir Evans, Tayshawn Forte, Jorja Gresham, Kahlia Hart, Gianna Jarvis, Kai’Ryn Johnson, Amira Patterson, Jay’nya Roger’s, Jamall Sims, Robert Watkins, Michael Wilbourn, and Christian Wilson! A special shoutout to Mrs. McCrary and Ms. Z for supporting our scholars today.

Today, our OPHS Mathematics Department hosted their first annual Mathematics Jeopardy Competition! This was serious business, and our Scholars were focused and engaged in the competition. Shouts out to team B for winning an S20 Drone, Beats Solo4, and a JBL Speaker!! A special shoutout to Mr. Motley, Ms. Nathan, Dr. Brooks, Ms. Puppala, Mr. Burt, and Mr. Harvey!

Knights, swyd and congratulate our OPHS Lady Knights Track and Field Team on their 4th straight division 1 title!!!! They did it again! A Big Thanks to Coach/Assistant Athletic Director Brandon Jiles for his endless work and leadership with this team. This level of success is only reached through continuous hard work and dedication. Congratulations again to our Lady Knights Track Team!!!

Yesterday, our Knights took part in Cap and Gown Around Town in Downtown Detroit — a moment filled with pride, celebration, and memories that will last a lifetime. These are the moments our scholars will forever carry in their hearts as they prepare to walk into their next chapter. Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your hard work, perseverance, and dedication to meeting the target did not go unnoticed. We are proud of all you have accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead.
