Roofers Local 149 has organized a full force picket line, and the entire Michigan Building Trades have stepped in beside us.
Roofers International is backing us. Surrounding Roofers Locals are rolling in hot, from Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. This isn’t a show of support, this is a show of power.

Local 149 has hired a bus that will run a nonstop continuous loop between Meijer and the picket line.

Stellantis sits on the NMAPC Advisory Committee, writing rules the Building Trades must follow, and then they turn around and break those same rules like we’re too stupid to notice, and tomorrow we answer that disrespect.
They thought they could sneak in out of town subcontractors and disrespect Michigan labor.
They thought wrong.
Tomorrow isn’t a “picket.”
Tomorrow is a reckoning.
Tomorrow is a movement.
Michigan is a union state.
We built these industries.
We built these cities.
And when you disrespect our trades, we don’t negotiate, we mobilize.

You don’t get to break the rules in our state and walk away clean.
