🎓 Welcome back, Class of 1976! 🎓

It was wonderful to welcome our Class of 1976 back to campus on September 12 to celebrate their 50th reunion! More than 50 classmates gathered later that evening to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate fifty years of friendship and memories.
A little school tour, a trip down memory lane, and lots of familiar faces made for a special day back home.

Last week, our kindergarteners got their hands dirty picking ripe tomatoes from our community garden! They loved helping with the harvest and learning how the food we grow can make a difference beyond our school.

Our school garden donates over 1,000 pounds of fresh produce to Beyond Hunger each year, helping provide nutritious food to families in our community. ❤️🌱

Lions Leap is BACK!

Yesterday, we kicked off our 38th Annual Lions Leap Fun Run! This year’s theme, “Around the World, We Belong Together,” celebrates the many cultures, places, and experiences that make our school community so special. 💙

Each class brought the theme to life by decorating their classroom door with an around-the-world-inspired design! 🌍✨

Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 to help support our school’s operating costs and continue providing meaningful opportunities for our students.

We love seeing kids helping kids! Recently students helped support the community LemonAid event—an annual fundraiser in River Forest that started on the anniversary of Sept. 11, 24 years ago. Since then, kids on the 700 block of Bonnie Brae come together to turn lemonade into lemon-aid. Our school counselor plays an important role in helping bring this meaningful event to life.
