Bilinda's Piano Studio Ms. Bilinda gives piano lessons from beginner to advanced level. Bilinda offers piano lessons to all ages from beginning to advanced level.

da is a certified teacher at the Music Teachers' Association of California. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Bilinda has performed in Vienna, Salzburg, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and China. Besides teaching and performing solo and chamber music, Bilinda is also actively accompanying instrumentalists and vocalists. She is also a church pianist and choir accompanist and instructor.

Summer is almost over, and it’s time to settle back into the rhythm and routine of a new school year! We hope the Global Musical Arts monthly competitions can be part of your musical goals this fall.

Participating in GMAC gives students an opportunity to strengthen memorization skills, explore new repertoire, set regular performance goals, and gain performance experience—all from the comfort of home.

Another valuable benefit of regular participation is learning how to record a polished performance. Recording has become an important skill for today’s musicians. Many auditions, competitions, college and conservatory applications, and even professional recording projects now involve submitting performances digitally. By recording regularly for GMAC, students can become more comfortable in front of the camera and better prepared when more important recording opportunities come along.

We have four exciting themes coming up this fall:

September — Nature / Seasons
Choose a piece with content relating to nature or the seasons.

October — Romantic
Choose a work written by a Romantic composer (1830–1900).

November — 20th Century
Choose a work written by a 20th-century composer.

December — Music Around the World
Choose a piece written by a composer from your country, or a work featuring ethnic themes or elements.

There is plenty of wonderful repertoire to explore, so start planning ahead!

Applications are due on the 15th of each month and can be submitted through our website at gmacompetition.com.
