All families are invited to join Pilgrim Community Preschool Teachers and Staff for a family storytime featuring some of the most frequently challenged and banned children's books such as Hair Love, Our Skin, The Family Book, All Are Welcome Here and Tango Makes Three. This storytime was created to be held during Banned Books Week as a way to celebrate the beautiful diversity of our community and raise awareness of the dramatic increase in the challenging and banning of children’s picture books in public schools that primarily focus on themes of social justice, race, racism, and LGBTQ. According to Pen America, over 6,870 books were challenged or banned in school districts during the 2024-25 school year alone!



Our doors will open at 9 am, follow the signs to join us. We hope to see you there!

This year Pilgrim Community Preschool is celebrating our 60th anniversary! Take a trip back in time with us each month to see how play and Pilgrim has changed through the decades.
SAVE THE DATE! All current and alumni families, teachers and staff are invited to celebrate with us February 11, 2027 as we honor our past and fundraise for our future: capital improvements needed for Pilgrim to expand to FULL DAY preschool options. More celebration info coming soon!

Calling all local artisans! Registration for our annual Holiday Artisan Market is now open. The registration fee is $40 and you'll be provided a 6'x2.5' table and two chairs as well as marketing exposure on our social media networks and newsletters. Additionally, all participants are required to donate a created raffle item valued at $30-$40 which will be highlighted through our event marketing.

Our Fall Mums preorder Fundraiser has been extended to Friday 9/18!
Preorder beautiful 9" potted mums: orange, red, purple or yellow, using the QR Code or drop off your order form and payment to Pilgrim by Friday at 1 pm. Mums can be picked up at Good Earth Greenhouse THIS weekend 9/19 and 9/20 during our Shop & Share Fundraiser.

Last night we had the privilege to welcome our children and families to visit their classrooms as we kick off a very special school year! This year we celebrate our 60th anniversary of our founding in 1966! 🎉 Each month, we’ll take retrospective look at where we have been, where we are today and our visions for the next 60 years. Are you looking for a fun class for you and your little one? Our Fall Session of Partners in Play! begins in September and takes place at Pilgrim Community Preschool on Fridays from 9 to 10AM. This class if for children 15-24 months to attend with their caregiver and it's a great introduction to the preschool classroom as well as an opportunity for you to connect with other parents.
