We appreciate all your help! Thank you to all alumns who have been so generous over the years. Your generosity over the years has allowed us to already install 11 boards not to mention a piano lab, a STEM corner in the library, refurbish our 3 year old preschool class, air conditioners in the classrooms and so much more.

Giving Tuesday lasts all week for Catholic Schools Week! Giving Tuesday is approaching and if you are willing or able to donate, no gift is too small. We have purchased 11 Promethean Boards already thanks to parishioners, Men’s Club, FTC and school fundraisers! We need 15 more to outfit the whole school, each one costs $4,500. We appreciate all of your support and generosity!

St Linus Alumn Mike McGovern ‘88 did us proud winning 3 Emmys this year 2 for the Pope Leo coverage. He has won 4 overall! Way to go Mike! We are so proud of you!

Sad news to report Linda Marks mother of Kathie and Laurie (75), Rick (78) and Janie (82) passed away this week. She was a lovely woman who loved her family and her faith. She was a long time parishioner who saw her children and grandchildren graduate from St. Linus School. It was always a pleasure to see Mr. and Mrs. Marks at church especially in the front row on Christmas Eve. Mrs. Marks is reunited in heaven with Mr. Marks. Please remember the family in your prayers.

Sad news, Charlie Powers a long time St. Linus parishioner and Father of 4 St. Linus Alumns Joe (68), Michelle (70), Kelly (74), and Mike (77) passed away last week at 99 years young. Charlie was a great father, parishioner, neighbor and friend. Charlie believed in the importance of a good solid education and was proud of the work done at St. Linus all these years. He was an active faith filled member of St. Linus church and school. He was an important part of Way off Broadway for many years. We were blessed to have him participate in the school's Veteran's Assembly as an honoree and a speaker. St. Linus was lucky to have Charlie as a part of our community and we are better for having known him. Thanks Mr Powers for everything.
