Garrity Music School The Garrity Music school offers students of age 5 and up the opportunity to learn and perform music.

While my specialty is the piano, lessons are also available for the guitar and traditional irish instruments such as the tin whistle and accordian.

would like to congratulate Seamus Murnin as the GMS Student of the Month for October, 2012!! Seamus has been expanding his musical abilities significantly over the past year. Not only is he building his repertoire on the bass, but he has also incorporated singing into his performances. His performance of "Our House" in the summer recital had the entire audience joining in and clapping along.

Seamus is also exploring his creative side by working on an original song called "A Sorrowful Night." We'll let you know when it hits the Billboard Top 40! We're also working on improvisation in his lessons, which is a special skill braved by the most daring of musicians. Right now he's working on a walking bass line to lay the foundation for a blues jam.

So once again, congratulations to Seamus, and keep up the impressive momentum!
