The 2018-2019 school year was the final year of ministry for South Side Baptist School. As we reflect back on the 44-year history of the school it would be impossible to name all those (students, faculty, parents, grandparents, alumni, South Side Baptist Church) who contributed in innumerable ways to the success of our school. James 1:17 states that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from

above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with who is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” South Side Baptist School was a good gift from God that for 44 years strived not just to educate children, but to make them more Christ-like in the process. We were sad to see the doors close for South Side Baptist School. We are thankful for the many years of ministry in Christian education God allowed us to have.

3rd Annual Candlelight Bowling and Raffles Fundraiser

South Side’s 3rd Annual Candlelight Bowling and Raffles Fundraiser will be held on this Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 5:00-10:00 p.m. at the Palos Lanes Bowling Center (11025 Southwest Hwy) in Palos Hills, Illinois. If you haven’t purchased your tickets – come into the office today! The cost is $25.00 per person which will cover a buffet dinner, 3 games of bowling and shoes (if needed). There will also be some amazing items to raffle off throughout the evening. There will be three levels of items to be raffled. Level 1 raffle tickets are $1.00 or 6 for $5.00, Level 2 raffle tickets will be $5.00 or 6 for $25.00, and Level 3 raffle tickets will be $10.00 or 6 for $55.00. Looking forward to a great evening for our school!
