What a difference a second year of bilingual instruction makes! We just started school 5 days ago. Watch these two students: both retained the language through the summer, both are super confident in answering questions, both are answering questions from a native Spanish speaker speaking at a regular rate of speech-no need to slow anything down for processing. These girls “think in Spanish” not translate word for word. I am super proud of them and cannot wait to see these girls at the end of the year!

Jameson had the best week this week!
He has never done anything like this other than going to nursery at church. We were nervous to see how he would handle the change but he has been so excited to go & happy when he gets there! Yesterday he was asking all about school trying to see if he would get to go back!! It has been so exciting to see him excited to be there & love learning at Escuela!
