A huge THANK YOU to our friends at Princeton Senior High School! 💙🧡

Following the recent flooding in Fayette County, they collected cleaning supplies to help families in our community with the difficult work of cleaning up and recovering. Their generosity and willingness to step up for neighbors outside their own community means more than we can say.

Dear Oak Hill High School Families,

Staying on top of your child's attendance just got a lot easier.

Starting Monday, August 31, 2026, Oak Hill High School will be using a new text-based system to keep you informed when your child is absent — and to make it simple for you to respond, ask questions, and share notes, all without a phone call.

Here's what's new:

● You'll receive a text when your child is absent. A message will come from 1-304-884-0174— save this number in your contacts so you never miss it.

● You can text back directly. Reply to confirm an absence, share the reason, or ask a question. It's that simple.

● You can send photos of notes by text. Need to submit a parent note or a doctor's note? Just take a photo and text it to the same number — no need to drop anything off at the office.

● You can proactively text us. Know that your child will be absent? Send us a text to 1-304-884-0174 Phone Number and we’ll update the record accordingly.

The texts are powered by our AI attendance assistant, and every response goes directly to our attendance team and your child's record is updated accordingly.

❤️🏈 Starting Game Day the Red Devil way! 🏈🖤

Before taking the field for their first game of the season tonight, members of our Red Devil Football team made a special stop at New River Primary this morning to help welcome some of our littlest students to school!

High fives, handshakes, big smiles, and a whole lot of Red Devil pride made for a pretty great start to the day. There’s something special about seeing our older students show the next generation what it means to be part of the Red Devil family!

Now it’s time to carry that energy into GAME DAY! 👺
