And summer camp is a wrap! Have a great summer everyone!
We had a great week of Ball Bonanza camp! Balls of all kinds used for science, art and just plain play time fun!
And that's a wrap on the 2022-23 school year! What a fabulous end-of-year celebration on Thursday morning. Ms. Cathy led the students in a musical presentation showcasing some of their favorite songs, we recognized our rising kindergartners, gave thanks for those who helped us this year and ended with a 10-minute slideshow highlighting our favorite moments of the year. Below is a portion of the prayer offered by Rev. Dina - highlighting our theme this year of CURIOSITY.
"We give thanks for the adults who taught, cared, and shepherded your children entrusted into our care. We give thanks for the children whose learning and growing before us were sparks of light. And we pray for the graduates who are now ready for a new school, new experiences, and to expand their world. Let the lessons and practices of curiosity offered this year find a comfortable and permanent home in their hearts. Let it guide them to risk, to try. And to try again. Let this curiosity help them take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance to learn and start anew."
Wow MAY has just flown by! We had a great week of food, flowers and Fan mail for Teacher Appreciation Week. We also threw a Cinco de Mayo party and have been working to move our rock pit to a new location. We hosted a VIP Tea, and today we celebrated our final Fun Friday with a beach party complete with sand art, popsicles and of course WATER fun! Only a few more days till our End of Year Celebration and then CAMP!
Celebrating Earth Day this week! Chapel time with Ms. Sue talking about how to care for God’s Creation, digging for worms (and any other bugs we could find), and recycle art! Thankful for such nice weather these past two weeks!
Such a lovely day to be outside! We had a great time at our egg hunt, and loved having Sparky the dog serve as our honorary school mayor. He proudly led every class into the courtyard for their egg hunts.
The Sea Turtles class got a new student today. Meet Box-a-saurus-Rex. He is a friendly dinosaur :).
What a fun week! Our inaugural VIP breakfast event and St. Patrick's Day shenanigans!
We love Fun Fridays! Today was Transportation Day. The students earned money to visit the car dealership and buy a car. They attended a driving class before they could drive off the lot (a heated game of red light, green light!). They all received their drivers license and celebrated by going to the drive thru to get their lunch. Then they hit the customization shop before heading home!
We celebrated special friendships in our Fun Friday group by making friendship soup - students helped prep the veggies, combine the ingredients and gave a taste test…thumbs up!!
Chapel time with Rev. Dina today! Lots of talk about hearts and love. Our youngest class led us in the singing and signing of Jesus Loves Me. And here are a few things the students are grateful for: walls, legs, eyes, nice weather, clouds, sun, ice cream, sharing, God, windows, and Christmas (Just 10 months and 10 days!)
Happy Valentine’s Day!
This is the last thing we do at school each week. Our Fun Friday group makes a convoy as we park the vehicles in the “garage” for the weekend! See you Monday!
Welcome February! Fairy Tales, Space, Groundhogs and hearts!

It might have felt like summer outside...but it was winter for sure inside this week!
And that's a wrap for Epiphany Preschool for 2022! We think the image below says it best - High Five's all around! Rev. Dina gave high fives to all the students as they walked out of the worship space following the Family Christmas Sing-a-long. What a wonderful time together! Thanks to the students, staff, families, church staff and church members who help make Epiphany such a fun place to be! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and we will see you on JANUARY 3rd!
Fairfax Schools have called for a 2-hour delay on Thursday, December 15th. Epiphany will open at 11:00am, and our Christmas Family Sing-a-long will still take place at 12:15pm.

Another fun week learning about farms and pumpkins and corn!
