👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 How excited are you to find out who your new teacher is? 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 will be posted on Skyward Family Access starting 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟰:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠. Class lists have been carefully created to ensure that all classes are equally balanced based on the following considerations:
✏️Overall learning abilities
✏️Boy-girl ratio
✏️Individual student needs
✏️Compatibility of students and teachers
Please be assured that all our teachers provide excellent instruction, and our entire staff is committed to meeting the individual needs of every child.

👩‍⚕️💊 All health plans and healthcare provider orders are good for one school year only. If your child needs a health plan or needs to take medication during the school day for the school year 2026-2027 (𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗽𝗶-𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘀 used at school, or after-school activities), please download the Parent Information and School Medication Form from the district website. To guarantee a transportation route for the first week of school, families must submit their transportation request by this Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

If the transportation department does not receive your request by the deadline, you will need to ensure transportation for your student for the first few weeks of school until the transportation department is able to complete the processing of requests.

🌿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🌿

We're excited to welcome our families and community back to the Hillcrest playground starting 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟳!

This space belongs to all of us, and we need everyone's help to keep it safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone who visits. Unfortunately, we recently had to close the playground due to vandalism and misuse. 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆'𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲.

To help protect our playground and school grounds, 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱. We are hopeful these cameras will help deter vandalism and make sure the playground remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝘆:

• 🚮 Placing all trash in any of the several available trash cans..
• 🚻 Using the portable restroom as intended.
• 🐾 Picking up after your pets.
• 🌱 Respecting our school garden, composting area, and outdoor learning spaces.
• 🌾 Leaving the grass and dirt areas as you found them by not digging holes or creating hazards.
• 🛝 Treating playground equipment, signs, and school property with care.
• 👀 If you see damage or inappropriate behavior, please report it to the school.

Every small act of care and respect for the space makes a difference. We truly want to have the Hillcrest playground be a place where our community can visit to play or exercise.

Thank you for helping us take care of our playground, our outdoor learning spaces, the playing fields, and the track. We can't wait to see you back! 💚
